My Kuala Lumpur Experience: Menara Telecom Building
http://carltyson.blogspot.com/2011/09/menara-telecom-building.html
My Kuala Lumpur Experience. I'm going to document the process of moving from Southeast Texas to take an assignment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This will be my first Ex-pat experience, everything is exciting and new. I hope you enjoy! Saturday, September 3, 2011. I just discovered that the building I work in is ranked the 29th tallest building in the world (if measured by height of roof). Or ranked 53rd tallest building in the world (if architectural features such as antennas are taken into consideration).

Just Another Blog about ADD | Georgie's Blog
https://artistgeorgiemcneese.wordpress.com/2011/02/11/just-another-blog-about-add
My Fine Art America Site. Just Another Blog about ADD. I am often asked how I know that I have Attention Deficit Disorder. The truth of the matter is that I didn’t know until a few months ago. I ran across an article somewhere on the web about adults with ADD. I was shocked that I had almost all of the symptoms and personality quirks that go hand in hand with ADD, from depression to hyper-focusing , to being temperamental, and easily distracted. At any rate, I found a wonderful article on the web that yo...

ADD, Hyper-focusing, and Art | Georgie's Blog
https://artistgeorgiemcneese.wordpress.com/2011/02/08/add-hyper-focusing-and-art
My Fine Art America Site. ADD, Hyper-focusing, and Art. Most people with ADD have a unique ability to hyper-focus on activities that interest them. When an ADD person isn’t hyper-focused they are aware at some level of everything that goes on around them and everything distracts them. In contrast, when hyper-focused, nothing else in the world exists. The brain refuses to let anything enter the mind other than what’s in front of the nose. It may make me famous someday. I’d love to hear from you. This gave...

Welcome to my blog! | Georgie's Blog
https://artistgeorgiemcneese.wordpress.com/2011/02/06/hello-world
My Fine Art America Site. Welcome to my blog! The only time I can keep this brain in check is when I’m painting or drawing. My art draws me into a distraction free zone where I can lose myself for hours. I love my studio. Only there can I close the door and lose myself in a canvas or some other creative endeavor. Please feel free to leave comments and/or a link to your website. I love hearing from and sharing links with those who read my blog. It was filed under Uncategorized. February 6, 2011 at 11:48 pm.

Spill My Guts Day 2 | Georgie's Blog
https://artistgeorgiemcneese.wordpress.com/2011/02/07/spill-my-guts-day-2
My Fine Art America Site. Spill My Guts Day 2. As I sit here typing, my husband is cooking lunch. The smell of garlic makes it difficult to concentrate. I am extremely hungry and fortunate for having a husband who puts up with me AND cooks. Poor guy. He certainly didn’t know what he was getting into when he married me. The first hour I was furious. How dare he walk out on me when I was so angry? I ranted and fumed and slammed cabinets and cried in fury. Was he coming back? As it turns out, I lied. I ...

For Those Who Can’t Draw | Georgie's Blog
https://artistgeorgiemcneese.wordpress.com/2011/02/10/for-those-who-cant-draw
My Fine Art America Site. For Those Who Can’t Draw. The fact that I couldn’t draw continued to nag at me, however. I’d never feel like a real artist until I could conquer the pencil. Fortunately, a friend introduced me to the book The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain: A Course in Enhancing Creativity and Artistic Confidence. By Betty Edwards. I highly recommend this book to anyone who can’t draw, but would like to be able to. This entry was posted on February 10, 2011 by artistgeorgiemcneese.
