Welcome to Carolyn's Blog. Tuesday, August 02, 2005. Hackers Crack Microsoft's Antipiracy System. Microsoft says that hackers managed to bypass a process it had implemented several days ago to ensure that users of Microsoft's update services possessed legitimate copies of Windows before they could download updates and content from those services. Will they get sued because of sharing their "opinion"? Or the host of the forum will get sued because the members have taught others to violate the law?

Welcome to Carolyn's Blog. Monday, July 11, 2005. Typing of the Dead. After all of the struggles and panics for finding an "educational" game, finally I've chosen Typing of the Dead. As my software evaluation. Some positive factors about this game are:. Students can learn how to type fast and accurately in an exciting environment. Students need to make up their mind in a short period of time to decide killing which monster first (require hand and brain co-ordination). Some negative factors would be:.

Welcome to Carolyn's Blog: Game in education?
http://carolyneduc463.blogspot.com/2005/07/game-in-education.html
Welcome to Carolyn's Blog. Monday, July 11, 2005. I should have posted this website earlier before our software evaluation is due in last week. But i was too busy working on my evaluation that I don't have time to update this site. The website Shall We Teach with a Game? Has talked about gaming in education, and even listed some exploration and simulation games that students might be interested in playing. Somehow it is "educational". I found this website Software Evaluation Guide. Other blogs in educ 463.

There and back again. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Where Are We Heading? I am curious as to where people believe that we are heading with multimedia technology use in the classroom. Do we share a common vision of what this technology should add to the education system? Or is this a more profound information revolution, where the new replaces the old? Posted by Ken at 11:21 AM. If that is true, isn't it a better to try and apply educational theory in the context of a classroom rather than noting parallel use of these strategies in a totally different and unconnected context? There and back again...: July 2005
http://kvd-sfu.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
There and back again. Monday, July 25, 2005. I was very interested in the conversation on the multiple layers of meaning in film. Though individuals may not understand fully the text (meaning references) people still got the central meaning of the video. I am curious, do people think that it is necessary for students to make video to actually 'get' the messages in a video? Posted by Ken at 12:04 PM. Wednesday, July 20, 2005.
