Click on photo to enlarge! Mountain Hostel, Gimmelwald. The view in the morning. Just open the window. 25 Swiss Franks per night. 50 beds. All beds are the same price. Showers are 1 Sfr. No curfew. Self-serve kitchen- fully equipped (free), Pool table (free), Internet station (12 Sfr/hour), Laundry facilities (5 Sfr/load). Hiking trails are easily accessible; free hiking maps provided. Swiss Army Knives and Swiss Cards sold at discounts. The hostel doesn't have any private rooms - only dorms!

A cool (I don't know if we can use the word "cold" to describe anything about this winter) winter day found the girls indoors mixing up their Lego Friends and Lego Star Wars - lots of fun apparently as this worked on this all day. Later they settled in for a movie and pizza; however, clearly, they did not want their picture taken. A few of little Av. Just a couple of pictures our little Noot. Sunday, November 16, 2014. Bird show with daddy. It's probably hard to tell but standing back in that cage is one HUGE looking old barn owl. The owl swooped right down over our heads! Traveling Near and Far. September 9, 2014. This was our last sunrise in Murren. We had a layover in Basel, where we occupied our time by buying Swiss truffles (mocha and chili pepper were the favorites) and walking from the Swiss to the French part of the train station. Thursday, June 18, 2015. The ladies each had to make a box to collect their Valentine's Day cards so we got out the craft box, glue and got to work. They were busy on their boxes and I made a heart shaped garland to match the kitchen. I am certain I had more fun than they did! Everyone busy at work! Alexandra made an iPhone collection box. Avery made a garden complete with butterfly! Funny Faces, Friends and Fresh Air. We were fortunate to spend a day skiing at Deer Valley thanks to the Issowits family!

Tuesday, July 1, 2014. A New Mexico Day. Headed to New Mexico and flying this time instead of spending 15 hours in the car. We were all excited to go, relax and hang out with Matt's dad and Carolyn. Saturday, July 11, 2015. On the actual Valentine's Day daddy convinced us all to go out and ride moto.well, not me exactly but I went along to watch our little ladies kill it in the desert. It was SOOOOO FUN! The sun was shining, weather perfect and we had a lot of fun. Girls did awesome and Avery gained a lot of confidence. We had snacks, hung out in the travel and just enjoyed a fun day together. Avery trying out a bigger bike. Look at Alexandra ride! Avery found SUCCESS on sissy's bike.
