How do you like them apples? Wednesday, July 10, 2013. It has been a month since I got on this blog. For those 3 of you who still read this, I apologize. My goal of hitting 1000 reasons to be thankful has fallen behind terribly. It's been a month of ups and downs. Amazing vacation moments and tragic, heartbreaking moments. But through it all God is constant. He never leaves. He never forgets. He never stops loving us. In short, I am still thankful. Thankful for. . . 472 safe car rides. We are THAT Family.

On Thursday mornings, I tutor high school students who are trying to graduate after being kicked out/having dropped out of conventional high school. On Thursday afternoons, I work with an after school program for middle school students who are struggling in and out of school. Some days I leave with the weight of the world on my shoulders. This weekend we headed over to Findlay, Ohio to see some of the Wittenbach clan and watch our niece, Becca, graduate. 418 I am thankful for nice weather so we could enjoy the outdoors. 419 I am thankful that our niece, Abby, is home from a semester in California.
