Almond is one of my favorite flavorings in the dessert world, so imagine my surprise when I spotted this almond pocky at the shop this weekend! I’ve only seen almond encrusted Pocky before, never one where the icing itself was made from almond paste. According to the box, almond Pocky was first introduced in 1971, the second flavor that came right after chocolate. How surprising! It’s a classic! Posted in japanese snacks.

Friday, May 17, 2013. Our March started off with some light snow! EB and her friend Caroline at school. Melts my heart! And with Gilbert, of course! I love watching her creative play. Here she is rowing a boat. Picnicking at the park! Those geese at the park are aggressive! I have to admit, it's still fun to play on these things. Her first boo-boo at school.
