Does the rain in Spain fall mainly on the plain? So, I realize I haven’t updated my blog very recently. That may be because I have been outside enjoying the absolutely gorgeous weather here in Southern Spain. It has been completely sunny and warm for about two straight weeks now. I have been taking full advantage of the circumstances and exploring the beaches of Murcia. This past weekend, I went with a friend to La Manga. It kind of reminds me of the Outer Banks.). Unfortunately, there is not a low-cost airline flying from Alicante to Barcelona; thus, my options were the bus or the train. I’ve had a lot of experience with buses lately and the times just worked a little better so the bus it was. Does the rain in Spain fall mainly on the plain? Yesterday was a holiday for university students, so a few friends that I have met through ISEP and I took full advantage and took a daytrip to Lorca. Lorca is a little smaller than the city of Murcia but is still in the region (like a state) of Murcia. It was so pretty! We had to wake up rather early to catch the 6:45 bus, but it was well worth it! I would like you all to know that I climbed not one but TWO mountains while I was there. Links to this post.

In 2010 when big floods hit Pakistan, millions of spiders, as all living creatures needed to move higher than the water level so they climbed up the trees. The astonishing thing is that even though they were in a totally new habitat, they kept on spinning and weaving their webs creating those web-trees that I can’t help but be amazed of. How astonishing is nature? For the love of rugs.
