Instantly, I was transformed from shopper to vulture, picking around the corpse for a juicy morsel. When my grandmother died, my mother refused to sell any of her belongings. She couldn't bring herself to let strangers judge and haggle over her mother's memories. I thought she was foolish, giving everything away when it could be sold for good money. Now, I understood. There was an error in this gadget. Sunday, July 03, 2011. Canada Day BBQ July 1,2011. On this Canada Day long weekend my husband was home. That is nothing short of a miracle especially since he did not request the time off. Well we had to make the most of it by asking our dear friends if they would come over and have a BBQ. They turned out fabulously it is something I would make again and they were a hit with both the adults and the kids. We also make a angel food cake with some strawberries. A CUP OF JO.

There was an error in this gadget. Thursday, October 04, 2012. Girlz weekend September 27-30,2012. We had the good fortune to spend a few days up at Spirit Ridge in Osoyoos, BC. We all had decadent and delicious meals paired with of coarse wonderful wine. Saturday's plans included, lunch at the restaurant on site and an afternoon wine tour with Kent from Desert Wine Tours.
