Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Furlough is wonderful and fun but can also be weary. Traveling between places (I think I put at least 100,000 miles on the little car my parents gave me), living out of bags, squeezing the most out of every last moment, repacking and thinking of all the things that will happen in the coming year and planning for that. I came across a blog post from one of the few blogs I like to follow. They make some good and humorous points and I found myself saying, "yep," to most of it!

Monday, September 19, 2016. My grandma always said; it's never "Goodbye," rather it's "See you later.". And that's what I'm believing. As I'm leaving Ethiopia, for now, part of it is coming along with me. Living and working here has changed me and therefore it will always be a part of my heart now. I've met and have gotten to know some really great people here. I can say that I'm leaving with many friends in my heart. Even though it's so hard to leave, the "why" it's so hard is so good.
