Roaches, freaky animals and a place in the sun. Last night I forced Polish Hubby to leave our neighbourhood (Earlwood) because I’ve been having diarrhea after eating only Asian food for 13 days. This time it was going to be Italian or Italian. Especially as I was celebrating getting a job in Sydney in just 13 days (and shitting most of the time while at it! So we got the 423 bus and got off at Newtown. Which you can compare to London’s Camden Town: it’s vibrant, arty and a bit sleazy. Is this a niche?

Roaches, freaky animals and a place in the sun. I’m the biggest fan of Aircrash Investigations. But I generally stop watching reruns a couple of weeks before getting on a plane. In this case being a 23 hour flight, I didn’t go anywhere near the show for the past six months. Still, for the whole journey I kept thinking about this one episode. Where the friendly flight attendant is thrown out the plane following an explosion. Her body is never found. Here, and are as clean as I remembered 🙂.

Roaches, freaky animals and a place in the sun. I finally made it out of Sydney to the Blue Mountains. No fog this time around although a part of the hike is closed off till June. I managed to walk 8 hours with no interruption which made for a great adventure in the wild. Polish hubby was happy and I can finally see in his eyes that he’s fallen for Sydney too. Although we appear to have a hurricane these days, the love might well be FOR EVER. Posted in Senza categoria. Forever love with Australia.

Roaches, freaky animals and a place in the sun. After Newtown comes Marrickville, which they say is ‘the new Newtown’. It’s arty and weird. And on the roofs you’ll find a shark, a boat, a hairdresser and a few men with stiff shoulders – all sculptures made by artist Ces Camilleri. I see these metal guys every day on the bus to work.
