Just another WordPress.com site. Chickens, pusscats and mud…. I considered getting her a kitty of her own for her upcoming birthday, but after the chick incident that was out. It’s clear she’s just not old enough to handle them properly. I’m convinced though that one day she’ll be our livestock keeper…that kid can’t get enough of mud and animals! A visitor and a vacation…. Pancakes are Ocitti and Malaika’s favorites, but the mother-in-me instinct makes that meal a once a week occurrence…after all, it is a cake drizzled in sugar. Just another WordPress.com site. June 11, 2013…. June 23, 2013. 8230; IVY MABEL KANEWISCHER. She has a long narrow face. So we’ll see who she starts resembling as she gets older. She is a good sleeper – much better than Lydia was! Right now she is eating about every 3 hours, which I can’t complain about – but when we were use to sleeping through the nights, it’s been a bit rough getting up that often throughout the night. 2 days after Ivy was born, their cousin Levi Charles was born! Ready to go home!

She had to be stubborn (like her momma) and was born at 1:05am, 65 minutes past her due date. She has been a joy in our lives and we don’t know where we would be if we didn’t have her.
