Dukun (Traditional Healer / Witchdoctor). Saturday, March 3, 2007. Posted by jessdunnthis in Indonesia. I heard a girl pull out of the garage at 5am, and that was the abrupt end of my fitful sleep. The opportunistic pain in my skull reared its ugly head again. What to doooooo? As the girls needed help backing out of the garage without knocking off their side-view mirrors, and then, Mas Yadi shouting. He messaged back, Have you taken medicine? Been to the doctor? For those of you who don’t know, the word.

The TICKETS are coming! Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Posted by jessdunnthis in Uncategorized. I get my tickets in exactly 4 hours, 7 minutes, and 34 seconds (well, I may have to wait a little longer, but hey, I will see the person who’s responsible for giving me my tickets in exactly 4 hours and 7 minutes). Patience is a virtue, right? I already know that I will be flying out from Sydney to Yogyakarta, Indonesia on the 23rd of January 2007. But that’s it… the rest is yet to come. Thursday, March 1, 2007. Posted by jessdunnthis in Indonesia. Very, very sorry for the lack of posts lately, unfortunately the word “blog” is actually an abreviation of “B-ack LOG” in my world! Not to mention, the internet is painfully slow so anything I have written I have not gotten around to uploading – sorry again. I took the photo from Jl. Kaliurang, about 5mins walk from my house… enjoy! No comments yet — be the first. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Choice Consumer’...

Batik 2 | A Year in Yogya
https://ayearinyogya.wordpress.com/2007/03/02/batik-2
Friday, March 2, 2007. Posted by jessdunnthis in Indonesia. Luckily, after going to bed early (though it would be a lie to say I slept the entire time), and with the assistance of some Panadol, I felt well enough to go to my Batik class at 10am, eating a sweet, crunchy apple for breakfast on the run. I arrived on the INCULS veranda to find that everyone had already started, the minature gas burners were lit with a bowl of wax simmering,. But, no, I actually thought it was b* * *y irritating. My. Tiny Turtles | A Year in Yogya

Sunday, March 4, 2007. Posted by jessdunnthis in Indonesia. Once again, I got up at 7am on a Sunday morning bright and early and lamenting Why, oh why, can I not sleep? But, I thought I’d make the most of it considering it is considerably less hot in the morning than any other time, so found myself wandering down to the Uni campus, but not before grabbing my favourite. Pita: Where is your boyfriend? Pita: But he’s your boyfriend here. So you have one in Australia too? Pita: But you need a boyfriend here!

Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Burgled by a girl called Yessica. I mean. we have had brushes with this sort of thing in the corridor before. Last time I was here we had a party and a Dutch calling himself the Checker (apparantely it is a really cool thing to be called in Germany? We looked for that and saw that it was missing too. We realised it must have been the girl we didn't know and so we ran outside to see if she was still hangin around Lappis. And how did Jesper manage to run into them?

Friday, March 16, 2007. The smallest boudinage (sounds like a kid's book doesn't it? Hi all. Back to the tales of. I promise I will finish my Christmas story later I don’t have those photos with me and I figure it is better to try and stay sort of up to date now). The weekend was the geology fieldtrip part, and thus was spent wandering all over Cap de Creus which has absolutely spectacular structures everywhere. I was seriously in awe. If I had seen just one of those structures in. More Cap de Creus.
