Monday, January 24, 2011. The Wonderful Winter Weekend Experience. There's really only one way to describe this weekend just passed. FUN. Sooo much fun. Next up was Saturday. Got up early and had a productive day at home. Did some tidying.some freelance work.and then headed out to our friends Eric and Lisa's place for a games night. http://www.thecherryjournal.com/2011/02/hump-day-and-kitchen-dreams.html
Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Hump day and kitchen dreams. This week, Wednesday truly feels like it's a hump I have get over. I'm tired, had a bad sleep, and feeling pretty grumpy in general. I'm sure I'll be back to normal again tomorrow, today is just going to feel a bit longer than it normally would. I didn't really have a post planned for today, so I thought I'd share with you some things that are currently putting me in a happier frame of mind. So, I'm on my favourite site the other day, Re-nest.

The Cherry Journal: Mellow Moments Monday
http://www.thecherryjournal.com/2011/01/mellow-moments-monday.html
Tuesday, January 25, 2011. I promise not to incorporate alliteration into every blog post title I come up with, but for the past two days it's worked, and I'm just going to roll with it :). Tonight was supposed to be a night full of wedding invitation consultation and some other freelance work. Instead, I got a call from my good friend Lindsay. Unfortuately, what Lindsay also has is a serious case of. Which now might be my favourite type of tea, actually. We laughed at the name, I may have even sung ...

The Cherry Journal: Q&A a day
http://www.thecherryjournal.com/2011/01/q-day.html
Thursday, January 20, 2011. I've kept a journal since I was a young child. I got my first one when I was about 8 years old, and wrote in it right until the very last page was full. Then I promptly ripped it up into a ton of tiny little pieces so my mom and dad (ok, mostly I thought it would be mom, sorry mom) couldn't come into my room, find it, and see all my deep, dark, 8 year-old secrets. The boys I liked, the teachers I didn't, and anything else I'd listed in there (I LOVED making lists). I think thi...

The Cherry Journal: The very relaxing weekend
http://www.thecherryjournal.com/2011/01/very-relaxing-weekend.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. The very relaxing weekend. This weekend was so simple and relaxing, it was great. I didn't do much, and that was a-okay with me. I've talked about her before.and probably many more times to come), has been partaking in what she lovingly refers to as her 'Psychoallergenic Diet' for the past few weeks (have I mentioned how clever Lindsay is? Free of gluten, dairy, caffeine, and a whole bunch of other good stuff. Luckily for us, she's even putting the work into sharing the recipes.
