The Ferguson Family: Big News
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2012/06/big-news.html
Monday, June 4, 2012. Here it is June already and our world has been turned upside down. We wanted this, we prayed for this and we were blessed enough to get it. It's only because God is so very faithful. The big news I speak of it that we sold our house! But of course it wouldn't be in true Ferguson fashion if there wasn't a little bit of craziness to accompany this sell. This is a bit of a long story so bear with me. As I shared here. We had a contract on our house! Posted by The Ferguson Family:.

The Ferguson Family: First Grade is Over
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2013/06/first-grade-is-over.html
Wednesday, June 5, 2013. First Grade is Over. I can't believe I have a 2nd grader now! First Day of 1st Grade. Last Day of 1st Grade. Last week was her awards ceremony and she made the A-B Honor Roll and got a citizenship award. Which, to me personally, means just as much, if not more than straight A's and B's. A well behaved child means the world to me and daddy :-). Posted by The Ferguson Family:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome To Our World! The Headboard Saga is Over. Pics of the House.

The Ferguson Family: Quick Update
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2013/05/quick-update.html
Thursday, May 9, 2013. Well we've been moved in for almost two months now. I know, I know! I haven't posted any pics yet. I guess I am waiting until the house is perfect before I take pictures. That may not be for another 14 or so years (when the kids are out of the house). I promise I will soon. We registered Shelby for Pre-K last week. So many mixed emotions (sigh). Ally is winding down her 1st grade year. Brooks got a promotion at work. And I am loving life in the country! Welcome To Our World! Here i...

The Ferguson Family: Probably My Most Un-Popular Post to Date
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2012/07/probably-my-most-un-popular-post-to-date.html
Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Probably My Most Un-Popular Post to Date. I couldn't sleep last night. I tossed and turned, playing over and over the status update I posted on Facebook yesterday. Maybe I shouldn't have? Maybe I offended a bunch of people? Maybe people don't like me now because I posted that? My mind was relentless. Why do I have this incessant need to make everyone happy? If you don't support something, than stand up for what you do believe in and lovingly. Posted by The Ferguson Family:.

The Ferguson Family: Our New Friend Part 1
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2012/05/our-new-friend-pat-1.html
Monday, May 14, 2012. Our New Friend Part 1. Last week Brooks and I had the most amazing opportunity to spend a couple of days away with our dear friends Brandon and Terica at the Catalyst conference. Wow what a few days! I've been to a lot of conferences but this, by far, takes the prize for the very best. We heard from some of the absolute best speakers in the whole wide world. Tony Romo was even there :-) It really was spectacular! Before they even presented the opportunity we heard from Katie. When I...

The Ferguson Family: The Headboard Saga is Over
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-headboard-saga-is-over.html
Tuesday, July 9, 2013. The Headboard Saga is Over. I finally have a headboard. After years and years of trying to prop my pillows up on the wall to make it appear as if I had a headboard, I actually have a real true life headboard. This headboard did come with it's share of heartache and frustration, but the end result is what counts, right? I continued on without gloves, which they strongly recommend not doing. But it didn't really matter. I was careful and didn't get any on me. Once I got m...All in al...

http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2013/05/pics-of-house.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Pics of the House. As promised I am finally posting some pics of the new house. We had guests Saturday night so the house was clean and I took the opportunity to finally get pics. We feel so very blessed to be able to score such a great deal on this house. Somedays I still can't believe we live out here! I still have a few DIY projects to do, but overall we are feeling quite settled. Kitchen and eating area. View from the front door. The field behind our house (notice all the deer).

The Ferguson Family: DIY Projects #1 & #2
http://brooksandkazia.blogspot.com/2012/07/diy-projects-1-2.html
Friday, July 13, 2012. DIY Projects #1 and #2. I reuphousltered my little stool and made a no-sew cushion for my new bench. Here are the before's:. 10 at a garage sale last fall. 15 at an estate sale last week. I was a little uncertain how hard or easy it would be or just how well it would go. But I have to say it was relatively easy. The hardest part of the first one was ripping off the old piping. Here are the after's:. For the no-sew cushion I followed this.
