The Wild Dani Archives: August 2007

The Wild Dani Archives. Tuesday, August 28, 2007. When faced with the last sushi rolls on the plate, Allegra eats the outside and I eat the inside. This is a metaphor for us. Links to this post. Saturday, August 25, 2007. I visit Orange County. Last weekend I visited my family in orange county. It was actually warm there, as opposed to foggy SF, and we took full advantage. We went swimming at Grandma's house and hung out there. She looks great! I love this picture. Links to this post. She brought good we...

The Wild Dani Archives: March 2008
http://danimarchman.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
The Wild Dani Archives. Saturday, March 29, 2008. In Marin there is some amazing hiking a few miles out of the town of Fairfax. The entire trail is straight uphill, but there is waterfall after waterfall the whole way! The entire trail is also shaded (which you are thankful for since it is so demanding) and culminates in a beautiful meadow where you can lunch at picnic tables and use the questionable latrine. Definitely a must see. Links to this post. Famous people like allegra and jesus. Our bedroom has...

The Wild Dani Archives: April 2007

The Wild Dani Archives. Saturday, April 21, 2007. World's Fair and Third Street. An amazing by-product of attending the world's fair was seeing, for the first time, the 3rd street neighborhood. Alternately beautiful and hostile, there was a lot of industrial decay and general desolateness for a neighborhood surrounded by so many people. But despite the bad weather we had some incredible fun. I mean, this is ART. William Scott was very sweet. He had more energy than most of us. Links to this post.

The Wild Dani Archives. Friday, November 14, 2008. The last hurrah as Two. There isn't much time now until baby comes! Allegra and I have decided to take a few little day trips to enjoy our last few weekends as a twosome. We went to Marin Headlands because leggy craved some fog, and we certainly got some. It was nice and drizzly and foggy and twilight. A beautiful day. If you go, take the low trail along the edge of the cliffs by the furthest parking lot. Links to this post. The Wild Dani Archives: January 2008
http://danimarchman.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
The Wild Dani Archives. Sunday, January 27, 2008. We had a very eventful christmas this year. A quick trip to southern california and then back to SF to hang out with Leggy's mom. It was really nice to spend the holidays together! There are some twisted people in southern california. This house celebrated the holidays by putting this convincing dummy up. My mom walked by and almost tried to save the guy. We had a great time with Leggy's mom, and took her to see some sights. Links to this post.

The Wild Dani Archives: December 2007
http://danimarchman.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
The Wild Dani Archives. Monday, December 31, 2007. A few weekends ago Andy and I went hiking in Marin headlands. There is an amazing trail up a hill where all sorts of old military junk is slowly decaying. The view of the backside of the golden gate is pretty amazing with the green hillside. A few rooms were built into the hillside to be hidden from the enemy, covered over by dirt and grass. Over the years they've collapsed in on themselves, but some tunnels are still visible. Links to this post. So I li...

This is Mine Blog. May 31, 2008. 39 pieces of propaganda. I didn't check my mailbox on Friday, but when I went into it on Saturday, among other things, there were 39 pieces of mail regarding the June third vote. Here's what the fliers told me to do:. 10) Yes on A - Parcel tax for schools. 9) Yes on B - protects health care for retired city employees. 3) No on C - Makes "moral turpitude" a felony, forfeiture of retiree benefits for certain crimes. 7) Yes on D - End holdover appointments. Based on mailings...
