The Compost Tea Miracle. July 22, 2014. Simply put compost tea is just what it sounds like. You take some finished compost, about 2 or 3 hand fulls, put it into a five gallon bucket. Fill said bucket with water and stir. Let it stand for a day or two. Stir it a few more times while you are in the waiting process. After a day or two use the compost tea to water your garden. Roasted Red Pepper, Tomato Soup and Potato Filled Sardinian Ravioli. January 6, 2015. I had made the bread rolls on Sunday (see previous post) and the soup was so easy that it felt like no chore at all. Both were healthy, filling and delicious. Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup. 1 large red pepper halved and de-seeded. 1/2 onion, unpeeled and halved. 2 cloves of garlic, unpeeled. 2 sticks of celery, sliced and chopped. Pre heat oven to gas mark 4. Serve with homemade bread rolls (see earlier post).
