Parking outside on the street is expensive in Amsterdam. On Sundays it is free parking in our part of the city. For other days the rate is 4 euro per hour in our street. Therefore we advise you to park in a P R car park! These are guarded car parks. If you arrive after 10:00 am the rate is 1 euro for 24 hours only (max. 96 hours; after 96 hours they charge the nomal parking rate). The government promotes this in order to get less cars parked in the city. It is called 'Park and Ride'.
