Saturday, March 17, 2012. I love celebrating holidays. I think I love it more now that we have a family. They boys really like when we make fun food. Jake and I got up early and made green pancakes, green eggs, and green milk. The boys thought it was pretty great and really enjoyed it! I got the frosting recipe from our best bites. Thursday, September 29, 2011. Ok now.I don't get political often. But I have my opinions. I am a Democrat. As a Democrat there are certain things we would like to forget. Like Jimmy Carter and the Reagan years. But nothing more than the Kerry/Edwards campaign. Have MERCY that was embarrassing. Everyone in town who knew him also knew him by his truck. It is one of a kind. If ever you saw it around town, or even miles away from home, you knew it was Scoot. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Recently Jake and I have been into making cupcakes. I love looking up new recipes online and trying them out. The boys love taste testing them for me! Jake made these green ones. They are Mt. Dew cupcakes. There is dew in the batter and in the frosting. They are very citrusy. I thought they were very delicious but Jake did not like them. Vanilla cupcakes with raspberry frosting. Ill be your taste-tester! And holy smokes.that frosting looks P.R.O.fessional! What are you using?

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Jake and celebrated Valentines Day last week on our days off, knowing Jake would not be around today. He is a volunteer for the "Chill Program." He takes 6 boys from the group homes to Brighton and teaches them how to snowboard. He is a great teacher and seems to enjoy going. Links to this post. Monday, February 13, 2012. Sunday, April 8, 2012. This was the start of our garden spot. The boys went out and cleared the wood, and leveled the ground. Brandy and her husband built the boxes for us. They are the best! Here is the finished project. I can't wait until we can plant food! What we are going to plant:.
