Tim had a few days off before starting his new job with the SEALS so we took a day trip up to L.A. to visit the La Brea tar pits and museum. Initially, I was a little skeptical of going since I'd heard it wasn't in a very "nice" part of Los Angeles but whoever told me that was mistaken.
