My sister, her fiancée and my niece and nephew came for the weekend and they left today. My grandma was also in town and was able to see Logan too. It was so hard to see them say goodbye to Logan. Saturday, December 20, 2014. So on monday, he has a pre-op physical for the MRI. Tuesday is the EEG. Friday is the MRI. He will go under general anesthsia for the MRI. I was hoping light sedation would be ok but his neurologist wants him completely under. They will draw labs at the same time. The neurologist wants to check his liver, thyroid, and blood counts to make sure nothing has changed. I will keep the blog updated when we have results of his tests. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. I'm praying he rests well tonight. He had a seizure a half hour ago and is pretty zonked now! Wish me luck tonight! Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Hello Sping and long awaited updates. Hello everyone. I am such a bad blogger! Logan has generalized seizures up to 30 times a day and a couple grand mal seizures a day. We have done many medication adjustments and have recently added a third medication. Hoping this one is the trick. It is so distressing to see him experience seizures all throughout the day. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Since December, Logan has had episodes that seem to be temper tantrums. They began with less frequency and we thought were related to irritation from oral secretions.
