A gardening project for special needs people and their families.and whoever else wants to help! Sunday, October 16, 2011. Another Purple Patch Family! Lisa's entire family helped in the Purple Patch this summer, including her husband Randy, sons Tyler (age 16) and Carson (age 15) and daughter Elena (10). One of their jobs was mulching- spreading "chopped up" cornstalks around the plants to hold moisture in the ground. In this photo Lisa is mulching one of our tomato plants. Hard work but very rewarding!
