This afternoon I was asked to record the orchestral performance of my better half, Siho, and her bandmates, which I duly did. Starting at 2pm in Aldrich Bay Community Hall, they performed the first set of four tunes:. Then there were nine ladies dancing – two dances – the instructor was good but the rest were unremarkable. Then my wife’s orchestra did another set of three tunes:. And tagged Chinese opera.

Gordon Tolley's Blog. Just another WordPress.com site – by Gordon. This afternoon I went to Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island. Next week, if the weather is not too bad, we plan a little stroll from Pok Fu Lam to Aberdeen. Today, I wanted to check out the site of the first dairy farm in Hong Kong. There are two sheds one contains a historical display concerning the site, together with a mock-up of the cows’ living quarters or milking parlour. For anyone interested, here’s a link to all the photos.
