I have forgotten that I am still in the Appalachian Mountains. 7 to 8 percent grade hills are here and there. Pushing MUSASHI is a tough job. I cannot go easy till the end. Both were 1500-1700ft with 7-9 percent grade. Downhills were much harder than climbing because it gave lots of damages on both my knees. 11 days to go until I finish my run in NYC. The day has come when my journey come to an end. Final run started at the west end of George Washington Bridge. 7 runners started to run together but after entering Manhattan more and more runners joined us. Today was the day when Macy's Thanksgiving Parade was going on in NYC. It was just wonderful day for me.

My tent is wet because of morning dew. Met a lady runner in Drouin. She said she had seen me in Western Australia a few months ago. I was surprised to hear that. She was traveling with her husband in caravan driving around Australia. Small world, isn't it? Yellow jacket and yellow flag were what she remembers. Hill climb again and again.

Dokkodo: Lonesome Road of Running. The Record of Adventure Runner Katzhiko KAY Takashige. I was invited to Kasugai Kizuna Marathon 2015 as a guest runner. It’s a relay marathon running 1.2km circuit course in Kasugai Driving School. 105 teams and 659 runners entered in total. Each member runs by turns for 2.5 hours. A team which runs the longest distance wins the race. I belonged to Team Kizuna(Bond) and I was a captain. Our team had another name “Team One-Tooth Geta.”. We really had a good time together.

Sunday, June 12, 2011. What Have I Been Up To Lately? The temps have really shot up lately and my mid morning run has needed to be pushed back a couple of hours to earlier morning so that I don't become to overheated. I am still drenched when I finish my run, but I love that! One thing I am doing much more of is resitance training.lots of free weights, push ups, jump squats, planks.things like that.
