Monday, February 22, 2010. Happy Birthday to US! Since our birthdays are just 3 days apart, we celebrate them both at the same time! This year we went to a Jazz game. Even though we had nose bleed seats and the Jazz lost, we had a great time! Just the two of us (OK three of us since we have no other choice than to bring the baby in my belly! The "ants" on the yellow rectangle are actually the players, yes our seats were that far away! I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my birthday!

Monday, July 5, 2010. Hooray for swimming lessons! Hailey has finally learned that she can get in the water without being glued to Mom or Dad. We are so proud of how much she learned! She will put her head all the way under the water and float on her back. That may not seem like much, but for Hailey those are MAJOR accomplishments! Friday, January 27, 2012. Look at the accent wall I painted in my entryway! It's in a fun alternating-color herringbone design. I've been wanting to do something cool on this wall for a while (I even tried and badly failed a stenciling attempt back in the summer), so when I saw this ceiling. I knew I wanted to copy the design. It was a fun project. What do you think? I'd love to dress the wall up even more with updated lighting, a console table, a huge shiny mirror, and a plush rug on the floor.

Cook dry pasta (Macaroni=2 cups dry; Egg Noodles=4-5 cups dry; etc) until al dente. Do not overcook pasta!
