Saturday, July 31, 2010. Ever since i began riding, i never saw the need to get real road shoes. marc managed to convert me by surprising me with a pair. The cleats have to be right at the balls of the feet, which requires some slight measuring during installation. Road shoes are also lighter, more narrow and allow for ventilation. They look less clunky, feel less clunky and pretty much fuse the feet with the bike. all the better to power through climbs and sprints! Friday, July 30, 2010. It's all for fun.

Monday, March 28, 2011. Presenting "with my own two wheels". One of my pet projects for the hoyas cycling team this semester was to bring a screening of this film. It was produced and co-directed by an old cal cycling teammate. The major i've always wanted to pursue but didn't), volunteered in bike-related development work. I'm so there. the team's also changed up the typical sponsorship model by promoting causes. And this film just seemed so appropriate for it (and my own personal ambitions/inclinations).
