I come from a long line of bakers, though over the years I lost interest. My older daughter started her own food blog about a year ago, and being a good mother I've kept tabs on it. In doing so, I've discovered a world full of excited food bloggers that have in turn re-inspired me to get back in the kitchen. I love foods from all over the world, but my first love is baking. The smell of a freshly baked loaf of bread, slathered in butter is an instant trip back to a carefree childhood.
