Wednesday, June 13, 2012. A new life for my favorite jeans. I've been going through my closet lately and weeding out and recycling/refashioning things like crazy. (Yay for losing baby weight and fitting into things again.) I had this pair of jeans that I loved! I made them into a skirt. FYI - the hem is not really higher in the front, the front waist sits lower than the back so it just looks that way here.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Links to my other projects. This shirt is XL, but I really liked the color- so I looked forward to resizing it and structuring it. I had great expectations for this green blouse. I really. See how it kinda puckers? Here's my r...

Monday, April 16, 2012. Kade's "smiley" hair discovery. My mom was fixing Kade's hair this morning and he was holding a mirror. He switched the mirror out of his right hand and then placed it over his "heart" (you'll see that it isn't quite in the right spot) and said the entire Pledge of Allegiance. I didn't even know that he knew it! Makes this Mom SUPER proud, though. They are amazing and he LOVES going to school! I can't wait until next year when he goes 3 days a week at this same preschool.
