Blackstock Banter: November 2009
http://shivb.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 07, 2009. I have decided to switch blog servers. I have been thinking about it for a little while now, but finally made the move today. You can continue to follow my banterings. Sunday, November 01, 2009. Fortunately, a lot of the trainers from Marpole Curves, including the manager, will be working at Kerrisdale. The trainer who used to work Monday nights at Marpole will now be working Monday nights at Kerrisdale. That means there will be a familiar face tomorrow to show me the...

Blackstock Banter: Endings and Beginnings
http://shivb.blogspot.com/2009/11/endings-and-beginnings.html
Sunday, November 01, 2009. Tomorrow will be strange. I've already packed my gym bag and will have to remember to take it to work with me. I will have to remember to detour to the Kerrisdale club on my way home from work. Strange days lie ahead; of course what seems strange now will eventually become the norm, and my days at Marpole Curves will be a distant memory, lost in the cobwebs of my brain. Time to say goodbye. Time to say hello. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Chaperone (Laura Moriarty).

sweet earth photographics: More words of gratitude
http://sweetearthphoto.blogspot.com/2010/05/more-words-of-gratitude.html
Tuesday, May 11, 2010. More words of gratitude. My mother-in-law worked in the film industry and we did not see much of her. Then she left it and in the year before she returned to her native land of New Zealand, she spent so much of that last year with my monkeys. Without her I would not have been able to commit to starting my company. She looked after my children without question and was there when I needed her.which was a lot of the time. sweet earth photographics: February 2010
http://sweetearthphoto.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 23, 2010. A walk in the woods. This past weekend I visited a site in the little village of Egmont on the Sunshine Coast as I will be shooting a wedding there in June. On the way my husband and I went for a walk to Skookumchuck Narrows. This is the first walk that the two of have taken alone in many many years. We were childfree for the late morning and thoroughly enjoyed the crisp winter day along the trail. It was very chilly and I was a little underdressed. Walk in the woods. Wooohooo...

sweet earth photographics: January 2010
http://sweetearthphoto.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 28, 2010. Just when I thought I have all the kinks sorted out on my new website it still will not work properly. All the work I did behind the scenes apparently means nothing right now and we are days away from The Grassroots Wedding Fair where I will be showcasing my work. This is not a good time to be adding another stress onto an already stressful time. I am going to go to my bed and hope that all can be resolved in the morning. Fingers and toes crossed. sweet earth photographics: Status Update
http://sweetearthphoto.blogspot.com/2010/12/status-update.html
Wednesday, December 1, 2010. I have almost completely abandoned this little blog. This past summer was a very busy time of weddings and family photography and as it ended my other new project, The Grassroots Wedding Fair. Began again in earnest. I am in the process of switching over to a new blog. That will be less about myself as a mom and a photographer and more about the business and creative side. It is up, kind of, but still needs some work. Keeping up with the wedding fair blog. The Story of Stuff.

Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Besides my own wonderful husband and children I would like to thank my mother for all her support over the years. Again, my team keeps me going. Each person represents a leg on my many legged table that supports not just myself, but this little adventure in entrepreneurship. Friday, May 14, 2010. sweet earth photographics: April 2010
http://sweetearthphoto.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 30, 2010. Jenn and Lee's wedding is an event I am very much looking forward to. It will take place in a very serene and green setting. Truly, it is an ideal photographic experience. Even better, of course, are the two of them. They are just lovely and I am enjoying getting to know them. Their cat followed us across the street and snuck into his fair share of photos. This photo is my favourite I must say. Sunday, April 18, 2010. Finding fun in an all day shoot. Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

Blackstock Banter: February 2009
http://shivb.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2009. This week was a strange week. It went seemingly slow, but very fast. Slow because I was ready for Friday on Monday; and fast, because I can't believe Friday afternoon is already here. My weekend exercise marathon was capped off Sunday morning with an hour of hot yoga. And then it was back to Curves on Monday, a walk on Tuesday, Curves on Wednesday, dance class last night. I'm taking a break tonight, and heading out for dessert with some of the Croftie crew. p. I have the best b...
