Grits & Gossip: And 4 months later....

http://www.gritsandgossip.blogspot.com/2014/04/and-4-months-later.html

And 4 months later. I haven't been able to jump back in to blogging like I wanted to this year. The Easter and Spring season brings a sense of new hope and beginnings for me. So here's a snapshot of the last few months in my world. I KNOW that everyone is as over winter as I am.but here's a flashback to one of our snow days. I'm just glad we only have to deal with this kind of snow once every few years in SC! We celebrated Bryan's grandmother's 90th birthday in February. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Grits & Gossip: Sweet Tea Scale

http://www.gritsandgossip.blogspot.com/p/sweet-tea-scale.html

My Sweet Tea Scale may apply to restaurants, books, movies, events, recipes, etc. Sweet tea carries a lot of weight for any true southerner. As Truvy. Said in one of my favorite movies,. 8220;it’s the house wine of the south.” Plus, it's good for you- it has been proven. That sweet tea drinkers are friendlier, more laid-back, exciting and attractive than those that don't partake. How the scale works:. 5= Sweet, cold, perfect, and homemade. Perhaps even served in a Mason Jar! 4= Pretty darn good!

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. My baby boy is one year old today! It makes me wonder how we went from this. To this handsome little man! It was a long tough road. At first but so worth it! He splashes and throws himself down in the tub. It is so sweet! We had his birthday party on Saturday at the house. It turned out great! We had family and friends over for hamburgers and cake. This was a ride on car that Granny and Papa gave him. Noah buried under some of his presents! After presents, we had CAKE! We norma...

Saturday, February 20, 2010. Who would believe that we would get snow in Myrtle Beach? It just doesn't seem possible. But that is exactly what happened last weekend. Friday night it started coming down and it just kept coming. We ended up getting 5 to 6 inches. It was crazy. This is what we woke up to Saturday morning. So pretty! My crazy girl trying to hit me with a snowball. Making a snow angel. Noah didn't care for the snow at all. He just wanted to be picked back up. Look how pretty she is! January b...

We're working on "tomato." Can you tell what we've been eating (and growing)lately? Grilled peach and mozzarella salad.
