Monday, 25 May 2015. Sunday morning at the national portrait gallery. Being in London on a Bank Holiday weekend is not a terrible result, especially when the weather is good. I did feel that I needed to achieve something other than tip a few in while basking in the May sunshine. If you aren't really into the paintings just go along and grab a bite to eat at the Portrait restaurant on the 3rd floor; decent views. A tomato ahead of time, right on time. Tuesday, 25 February 2014. Chalking up a decent walk on a sunday. Getting to Eastbourne was simple enough, there's a direct train from Victoria which took just over an hour and a half. The 6th installment of Gentlemen's Lunch (GL VI) had been in the diary for quite some time and anticipation was growing throughout the week as we noticed favourable weather conditions were looking likely to coincide with the weekend.
