Idaho City - May 2005. Rode up to Idaho City for breakfast with Papaboop of Santa. Monica, CA then took a walking tour of this historic town. We took Surprise Way to Hwy 21 then up to Trudy's Kitchen in Idaho City for lunch. Returned home via Hwy 21 and Warm Springs. 72 miles. April 10th, 2010. Mores Creek Bridge, about 18 miles north, is a 848 foot steel arch bridge over Mores Creek (Lucky Peak Reservoir) on Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway. The Lolo Pass Loop is a great motorcycle ride out of Boise, and it took us two days with an overnite stop in Missoula at Exit 96 to cover the 800 miles. Carson Pass - Mammoth Lakes - Tioga Pass. September 1992. Tim Morgan, then from Redwood Estates, joined me on a 600 mile motorcycle weekend out to Mammoth Lakes. We left San Jose around 3pm. Slabbed up 101 and 680 to 84 then over Patterson Pass to 580. In Stockton we grabbed 88 to Jackson for gas then continued over Carson Pass to the Woodford’s Inn. A 20 unit motel situated in the tall pines of Woodfords, about 5 minutes from Markleeville. After leaving Bridgeport and stopped for a bite at this cafe.
