Are the colors in the image cool? By studying the image closely, you can begin to better understand what type of colors you are ultimately seeking. Recently, I found this online tool. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Ascender Rises Above Studios. Some good vignette examples! Dark negative spaces pushes the positive space forward. Watercolor dries approximately 3 times lighter than the color you see when it's wet. Clean brushes thoroughly to avoid hidden paint in your next drawing.
