店主は森敏彰(もりとしあき)、その屋号を 炉端焼 盛(もり) と言う。 決勝戦に出題された、茹でられて３時間以上も経過した茹でのび麺が出題 さて、何処のうどん店の麺でしょう に、決勝進出者中だんとつのパーフェクト回答という事実により 神の舌 煮干(イリコ)の魔術師 とも地元メデイアに賞賛される。 １９９９年 盛ラーメン は はまんど と屋号を改名。 作品 踊る大捜査線 で著名な映画監督 本広克行(香川県 丸亀市出身)氏の ＵＤＯＮ にも実在のラーメン店主として出演、店舗紹介されたことは知るところである。 讃岐うどん巡礼者の聖書ともよばれる有名著書 恐るべき讃岐うどん (田尾和俊氏 著)に登場する人物。
