Saturday, May 25, 2013. Callie's last day of "school". Last Wednesday Callie finished her first year of Mother's Day Out. She went to MDO every Tuesday and Wednesday and loved it! I signed her up for the same MDO program that Cain went to last year. And will sign her up again this fall. I have no doubt she will miss it this summer. Callie with one of her teachers, Mrs. Katie. Saturday, May 25, 2013. The day before the party I took the kids to a toy store to buy Jax a birthday present. I asked Cain what Jax likes and said Jax likes Toy Story and picked Jax's present out all by himself. This was the first present for a friend he picked out all by himself. Saturday, May 25, 2013. Cain had awards day at school on Wednesday. I was so excited to go to Cain's awards day and see what award he had be awarded. It was pretty hysterical though because when Mrs. Riley said the next award was being given out to the "Best Listener" Cain threw his hand in the hair and yelled "Cain" before Mrs. Riley could even announce his name. He had watched so many other kids already go up to receive there award and I think he couldn't wait any longer to get his.

Saturday, July 21, 2012. WowI can't believe it's been two months since my last post. Sorry about that! I guess once again I have a lot of catching up to do! What have we been up to this summer? The kids had fun swimming with friends. Cain and Callie both took swimming lessons for the first time. We made a trip to Louisiana. We celebrated my cousin Jay's wedding. Sunday, August 26, 2012. This isn't a sight I see every day but I love it so much when Cain will give his sister a sweet kiss good night. Every night I usually tell him to give his sister a kiss good night and he will at least lean his cheek into her but it's rare for him to actually give her a kiss. Monday, May 20, 2013. Friends and Tea Parties. Weekend before last the Carlisle family spent Saturday night with us. Their oldest daughter had a dance competition in Nashville so they stayed an extra night so we could all visit. It was so great to have them here. Callie was born a day before their youngest daughter, Eva, so it was exciting for them to finally meet. I love that the girls really had that raised pinky perfected.
