Just another WordPress.com site. August 28, 2013. The Fast Diet: The Secret of Intermittent Fasting – Lose Weight, Stay Healthy, Live Longer. It has taken some courage from originally buying the book on Sunday, to actually starting my first day of fast today. I’ve chosen this diet, not just because of the promise of easy weight loss (which may or may not happen), but also because of the supposed health benefits (the book suggests that fasting lowers the risk of diabetes, cancer etc.).
