I think I’ve finally understood what Einstein may have meant when he spoke of relativity; this past week felt so much longer for so many great reasons- it was bursting at the seams with surprises, new friends, learned lessons, and a deeper understanding of myself. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Sunday night I got a phone call from a good friend. A friend I've known for almost a decade. Despite our distance in logistics, and the fact that we only talk about every other month (at best) for an hour or two at a time, I consider him one of my absolute best friends. I'm so lucky to have them, though few, in my life. They are the ones I can be just as confidant as ever around even if its been years since we last saw each other. It is amazing to love and be loved completely.

I look forward to doing as much Halloweeny stuff as we can manage during the month. We usually roast the pumpkin seeds too, and this time I think they were the best we’ve ever made. I couldn’t stop eating them. In years past I’ve been underwhelmed by them but I really enjoyed them this time. Yum. My favorite part is setting them on the porch and lighting them. Saturday, July 28, 2012. Hopped up on Benedryl today. Why do I always forget that Benadryl knocks me out and leaves me in a surreal fogginess all day? I shan't take it again. At least not in my supposed to be waking hours. I am in Kentucky right now visiting my family. My dad works in Australia and had to leave earlier today (and I missed him leaving since I was in a drugged induced coma) so I'm sad that he won't get to be around for the rest of the time I'm here.
