He spent several years as an actor and director with a number of small theatre companies in Portsmouth NH - usually at the Players Ring. And in summer stock with the Peterborough Players. And Acadia Repertory Theatre. In NYC, he studied with the legendary Austin Pendleton. He wrote a critically-acclaimed performance piece, BAD HAMLET.
