Trading Miles for Memories. Who are those two and whats with the monkey? Trading miles for memories. We say good bye to a friend. The FJR on one of its many journeys. It has been about 3 week since my lift off, my bones are healing and my soreness has faded. I have told my story probably 100 times and I even thought about making a t-shirt summing up the story in 3 photos. Upside down FJR, stick figure man in flight, and a picture of a broken bone. Trading Miles for Memories. Who are those two and whats with the monkey? Babe, I wrecked. Was about 400 miles short of intended finish. 10 hours 15 mins. Number of stops- 5. Fuzz Sighting- 1- Grant County Sheriff. Yup I crashed. The blog post title kind of gives it away huh? It was pretty erie to see the forest fires right outside Mountain Home burning in the distance as I headed out. Next stop McCall. Way to go FJR. Just crossed the Dam. Calm in the early morning. You can see the dam in the background.
