Friday, April 20, 2012. Everything but the Kitchen Sink. Day 20 - Wet. This is a fountain outside the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore. I absolutely LOVE Baltimore. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. I was supposed to be reading but I really wanted to get outside and enjoy the sunny fall day we had last weekend so I decided to find out where Regina is hiding its trails. Just east of town I found the White Butte Trails. That in the winter become x-country ski trails. Other than some wet areas that required a bit of dodging into the trees to avoid wet feet it was a nice walk. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Little did I know that there are ferryboat tours on Wascana Lake.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. In February, the coldest, darkest, most dreariest part of winter we decided to check out Moose Jaw. Moose Jaw is a city about an hour away west of Regina with a well known spa, art gallery and underground tunnels to be explored. We stayed at the Mineral Springs Hotel. The Yvette Moore Gallery. Is a truly great find for local arts and great food. Everything from pottery to pictures and the quaintest women's bathroom sitting area ever is here.

Saturday, January 8, 2011. White Butte Ski Trails. I know that I posted about these trails in the summer when I was out exploring looking for unpaved trails. Now that it's winter, almost the end of winter actually (I haven't been updating this blog very often and it's now March) the trails have been in full swing as cross country ski trails. Not a far drive from Regina, 10-15 minutes, they are maintained by volunteers of the Regina Ski Club. And used by many, many people. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
