When I followed Kevin B Parsons through Moab Utah on his motorcycle trip of 50 States in 50 Weeks, I remembered how Daughter Darling and I loved Moab Utah. We had taken an eight state road trip when Baby Darling was two-months-old. Now at three years old, he doesn’t remember the trip, but we do. For years I wanted to visit Mesa Verde. And the Anasazi, how did they do it? They carved a village out of solid rock, lived there for a time, then disappeared.

Yesterday we took my Grandson in his stroller. He gets to ride although, at three-years-old, he can go longer and farther than any of us. Do not, they say, use spaces for paragraph indents. Do not use Tabs. So what to use? Paragraph indents. Go to paragraph and under “first line indents”place your space number there. And what if you have written a 400 page manuscript using tabs all along? Guess I’m in for paragraph by paragraph corrections.

The above picture is of our little auxillary house we dubbed “the Tiki Room.” Our trail from there led to California where we now reside. Why am I calling this blog Happy Trails? Well, I was feeling a need for some. And thinking back I remember how much I loved Roy Rodgers and his horse Trigger and hearing The Sons of the Pioneers sing “Happy Trails.”.
