A Little Bit Of Everything. I love this photo. The clouds are just beautiful. Taken in 2010, it shows the main thoroughfare – Manchester Road. The bridge goes over the railway line and the M65 motorway. Our house is just past the bridge, second on the left. Walton’s mill, Hapton. 1908. Once of a day, there was a fair amount of industry in Hapton. Cotton mills, chemical works, printing works, coal mines to name a few.
