Sunday, January 10, 2010. What will happen to Isai, a 14 year old boy that has a strongly evangelical father who is very spiritual, but strongly disagrees with some of our doctrines.without guidance and support, will he remain Adventist or will his father’s views overpower his? What will happen to a man named Darix that we have been studying with that had a dream about us helping Him, but feels like He would like to study more before committing to a certain religion? Friday, May 29, 2009. A Day in Jellico. Some of you may be wondering what I have been up to since I returned to my old hometown. Well not much has changed, pretty much the normal daily routine. Whether in Collegedale or Jellico. This morning I woke up and decided to start my day by swimming laps. After that I was pretty hungry, so I had a big hearty breakfast. Next, since it was Friday and all I started on the chores. Unfortunately I got stuck with the bathroom,. Oh well, in my mind the problem was solved.

Friday, June 25, 2010. What I wanted to do next! After spending a lot of time stressing, I realized I was neglecting my work in Peru and that I needed to focus on that until my time there was finished. So I worked peacefully, returned to the States, and now have life figured out again, right? But this is where I am mistaken. Why do I feel like I have to condemn myself like that? I guess I see picking a direction as such a finalizing, permanent thing.such a huge commitment. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Drip, Drip, Drop, Little April Showers…. Therefore, for a long time counted down the weeks until this special time of year would come. Since then the rain has cleared out a little bit, but many things are still drying out. The other day it was hot again and for the first time I think I actually enjoyed it. But my question is, why can’t I just be happy with the way things are, when they are that way? But I know this is not what I should be thinking! Wednesday, October 14, 2009.

Living in Peru: Who Invented the Lightbulb?
http://brittanygimbel.blogspot.com/2010/02/who-invented-lightbulb.html
Sunday, February 14, 2010. Who Invented the Lightbulb? Well, I had gotten such a kick out of the experience that I decided to tell the rest of the SMs that night when I came back for supper. As I shared the story and got to the part where I corrected him, another one of the guys busted out laughing. He then smuggly informed. That Albert Einstein did not invent the lightbulb, Thomas Edison did.Wow, now who felt like the complete idiot! It was too late though, I already had everyone rolling. You should kno...
