Ryan, Sarah, Duggle, & Dot: January 2012
http://ryanandsarahmc.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Learning to Play Together. Douglas has never been especially social, so his recent desire to play one on one with Dottie has been really pleasing to watch. Considering how much he did not like her when she came home from the hospital, I wasn't sure this day would ever come! Making faces in the bathroom mirror. Opening and shutting windows. Drum circle in the living room. Notice the haircut? In case you don't believe me that he didn't used to like her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Learning to Play Together.

automatic sam: I'm crazy
http://automaticsam.blogspot.com/2012/02/it-true-i-crazy.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. I'm about 10 weeks. Yes I know I had a baby 4 months ago. Haha we'll figure it out. Now I can't say that I've been this calm about it since we found out. I knew I was pregnant back in the beginning of January. I was making. Curry chicken (a favorite of ours) and I wanted to throw up. I hated anything Thai or curry when I was pregnant with Quentin. So I just knew then, Michael thought I was playing a joke on him. Also, I know its stupid, and I know I will but,. I always wished t...

Ryan, Sarah, Duggle, & Dot: December 2011
http://ryanandsarahmc.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
On Christmas Eve we spent time with the Brian and Kendra McMullin and the Tom and Kellie Bogardus families. The food, mediterranean cuisine, was fantastic, and the kids had such a blast. For the live nativity, Douglas was a shepherd and Dottie was the angel. Angel with a Plug. Missing from this scene is the cat, Cooper, as baby Jesus. The shepherd spent a lot of time putting Linus into an SUV. The grumpy angel wasn't too interested. Timer family pictures are epic. While he "helped" her open it. There are...

Thinking about buying the We Are Women book. But eh, not so sure? Today only, you can get 29% off with the code LEAPYEAR. And, as always, all proceeds go to benefit the Campaign to End Fistula. A post about dating, with a mention of my menstrual cycle. Ver the last month, I have decided to be more social, and surprisingly, I have stayed true to that goal. That's right. Forcing myself out of the house. Being around other people. Doing stuff. And I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit, which is a huge plus.

Ryan, Sarah, Duggle, & Dot: October 2012
http://ryanandsarahmc.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sorry for the blogging hiatus! Been using the iPad almost exclusively and I don't like the Blogger app very much. Recently we noticed that Dot was very, very, very jealous of Duggle's big boy bed. She would whine and cry at bed time every night and try to convince us she was instantly asleep in his bed so she wouldn't have to get in her crib. The behavior started spilling into nap time when she would run into his room instead of hers after lunch. The first night did not go so well! Nap time the next day&...

Any day with two pacifiers. Is a good day for Dot. Dottie has enough hair for pigtails now! These are her first set, done by Daddy. To fill out this otherwise very short blog post, two more pictures. A new favorite pastime, climbing on the bench in Mom and Dad's room. Each kid is wearing a favorite accessory, Douglas in one of his three favorite hats and Dottie in her sparkly purple sandals. Here's what Douglas looks like when mom says, "Let me see your teeth! My fave five are, in no particular order:.

It is with great pride and pleasure that I present the 2014 Hunter Family Cadbury Awards. What was once the natural byproduct of an unusually competitive group of humans has now become legend. This year we are welcoming a new judge and wish her the best of luck sorting through which of these amazing entries deserves the ultimate prize. EGGS AS EVERYDAY OBJECTS. Finding Joy in Every Moment. John Deere Lawn Mower. Lighting Up a Spring Evening. Pear Bear from The Croods. My Lips Hurt Real Bad. My Name is Max.
