Prototypes - Low Volume. A History of Excellence. Harbor Manufacturing, Inc. was started in 1960 by brothers, John and Peter Stratta. With extensive experience as tool and die craftsmen, John and Pete opened Harbor Tool and Die, Inc. and began manufacturing tools, dies and production parts for the stamping industry. While the business grew throughout the 60's and 70's, much of the stamping business in the U.S. was beginning to be exported overseas.
