As all sailors admitted it was by far the best day with a strong and constant breeze and the key was to have a good start and control the opponent. Meldgaard had no real trouble dominating Cristiana Monina from Italy. A combination a very good starts and better boatspeed upwind secured the bronze medal for the Danish match racer.
