Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary: October 2010
http://manitouwabingcottage.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Will know that I have a bit of a reno-addiction, so more than likely there will be some changes to the cottage over time. Being our first cottage, I’m sure there will be plenty of things we’ll need to learn along the way. One of the first and most important is learning how to winterize it. I checked the internet for various lists and have come up with the following. Shut off the water pump and drain water from pipes. Clean and put away the BBQ.

Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary: What's Up Dock?
http://manitouwabingcottage.blogspot.com/2011/07/whats-up-dock.html
Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. With the two staircases the dock wasn't any good for swimming, lounging or fishing from. In fact there was hardly enough room left on the dock to fit a single Muskoka chair. Not to mention the dock was pretty old and rotted out. It actually was so old it had a small sapling growing out of it. So at the Spring Cottage Life Show, we ordered the show special from Dew Docks. July 26, 2011 at 8:15 PM. Maggie {Okay, now what? Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary: August 2011
http://manitouwabingcottage.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary. Friday, August 12, 2011. Happy Hour - Sangria. My wife and i (and incidentally most of the guests we've ever had to the cottage) love red wine. Not just the snooty swirl in the bottom of the glass while make slurping noises type of red wines; but pretty much all red wines. Are you like us? Do you love red wine? If so, you've probably pondered the health claims associated with red wine, is it good for you or not? 1 bottle of red wine (plonk will do). 1/2 cup Orange Juice.

Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary: Canada Day Weekend
http://manitouwabingcottage.blogspot.com/2011/07/canada-day-weekend.html
Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. It's the first long weekend of the Summer. Summer, that short-lived burst of heat we get in Canada, which we pine and long for all Winter and Spring long. So after enduring the frigid cold of Winter and cold and rain of Spring, what do Canadians do? They head up North to get away from the heat. Ironic maybe, fun definitely! We bought our chairs for $60 from Costco. They're made by the Bear Chair Company. Maggie {Okay, now what? View my complete pro...

Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary: April 2011
http://manitouwabingcottage.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Manitouwabing Cottage Reno Diary. Saturday, April 2, 2011. We're now officially into Spring. Is it just me or has this felt like a really long winter? And found some really great deals. We then went to The Classic Vault Emporium in beautiful St George. Here are the things we came home with:. A hand stitched Baby quilt from Waterford. We thought this would look great hung on the wall of the cottage. And for less than $30, it costs much less than a decent piece of art. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
