Monday, March 31, 2008. 難得下班一個人在尖沙咀逛，試了新餐廳，結果，當然又是失望。本來打算試拉麵店的，可惜那店今年休息，於是去了加連威老道的金水壽司。在網上上看過好些人介紹這壽司店，而且每次經過其門前總見到有人排隊，所以決心一試。翻開餐牌，價錢比板前要貴上近一成，心中已感到有點不妙。點了三文魚壽司，吞拿魚腩蔥壽司、芒果炸軟殼蟹反卷、金水拉麵。最先到的是三文魚壽司，看見那薄薄的、沒光澤的三文魚，心中不以為然。掀開三文魚一看，下面沒有芥辣，該剎那明白到這一趟是白來了。再說拉麵，並不是想像中的超鹹味精湯底，而是白開水湯。太概湯是早上弄好的，賣到晚上不夠，便加了白開水。麵條的口感還可以，配料有鰻魚，雞蛋、炸雞粒及海帶，不致難吃，但也沒甚麼可記。話說回來，雖然對金水失望，但對其評價卻是以同一price range的壽司店作比較的。如果以元氣壽司作為10級難食指數的最"高"標準，我會給金水6級難食作為評分。 Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, October 09, 2007. 回港後第一次外出用膳，帶著對香港美食的幻想，可惜第一餐就難吃得想吐！點了下午茶餐，挑了煙三文魚雞蛋三文治，心想這算是很安全的選擇，三文魚跟雞蛋也是我最愛吃的食物，容易控制兼本身味道佳，很難會失手的。結果，這餐廳為我帶來了surprise，但對不起，不是驚喜，是驚嚇。先說那麵包，不知那廚師是否想扮panini，把那塊港式方包grill了幾下，麵包表面多了幾條深啡色的Grill痕，厚厚的麵包皮又乾又苦，咬下去確是索索有聲，但卻完全沒有平常吃panini時的麵包香。這個創意十足的烚菜三文魚渣生命麵包扮panini，以及那杯充滿著香港水喉水獨有異味的"果汁"，正好為我回港後的一段恐怖日子揭開序幕。 Tried this restaurant last July, finally finally finished this blog entry. Monday, February 19, 2007. Pita Gourmet Pita Bread. Onion, thinly sliced. Red Bell Pepper, thinly sliced. Swiss Emmenthal Cheese, grated. Red Pepper Flakes to taste. 1 Spread the tomato paste on the pita bread. 2 Layer the red bell pepper and onoin slices over the tomato paste. 3 Broil in oven for 5 min or until pepper and onions are cook. 4 Layer the smoke salmon on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. 5 Broil for another 2 minuites or until cheese is melted. 6 Season with red pepper flakes and serve.

Monday, September 01, 2008. 或許回港久了，沾染了港人的習性，又或是對港人的不信任，很多時候見到乞丐，心中想的，往往是"這人是真的行乞嗎，還是那些騙才的職業乞丐呢？". 口琴這樂器體細小，可以隨時帶在身邊，天涯海角去也，感覺是十分逍遙的。而老伯的琴聲卻是斷斷續續、零零落落的，一如他殘破的人生。早起腦筋未還未完全清醒之際，偶爾聽到他斷斷續續地奏出父母恩，即時鼻子一酸。想當初他也是個粉雕玉琢的嬰兒，父母的心肝寶貝，何以今天弄至如斯田地？面對眼前那些面無血色、雙目沒有焦點的人們，或許，老伯比天橋上急步走過的我們更有靈魂。 Links to this post.
