Friday, March 22, 2013. I have been overwhelmed (in a good way! With friends and family giving me the opportunity to photograph their big moments! Most recently I was asked by Rusty's oldest friend and his wife (Adam and Wendy) if I would take their maternity pictures. Of course I said yes. Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The Sages: December 2014

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. As a teacher, it is important to maintain control. If you lose control of your classroom, you're in trouble. Let's just be completely honest though, its happened at some point for all of us. There's almost a momentary panic as you regain control of your classroom to continue on with what you had planned. Yesterday we had our follow up appointment for Sadie. The x-ray showed that her right hip had not improved. That God would choose to completely. Pray that He would:. Prepare u...

Still waiting on the honeymoon. Friday, November 18, 2011. Andrew is best block stacker I know. Seriously, 22 block, could your kid do better? And he is so humble about his skill. Look at the concentration. This kid is going places! And he doesn't even cry when they all fall down. Andrew is a pretty cool kid. Ryan, Lindsay, Kai, Andrew, and Malia. The Sages: May 2013
http://codyandsb.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 30, 2013. We're 3 weeks into parenthood and I am learning new things daily:. Time is measured elapsed, not time of day (ex: Sadie slept for 60 minutes vs Sadie slept from 2pm to 3pm). My list of things to accomplish is narrowed down to keeping baby happy/figuring out how to make baby happy.which leaves me sometimes trying to figure out how I spent the entire day. Being the mother of a newborn is tiring. The hours you lose at night are hard to make up during the day. Sunday, May 26, 2013.

The Sages: March 2015

Sunday, March 1, 2015. It snowed in Longview this week, like a lot of snow. We missed 2 full days of school, had two late starts and had a blast in the time at home. Sadie LOVED it. Specifically, she loved eating it (eww), but we also sledded, built a snow Mickey, threw snowballs, ran around and squealed and made snow angels. It was fantastic! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cody and I got married on December 29, 2007. We live in Houston with our sweet puppies Chloe and Ellie! View my complete profile.

The Sages: January 2014
http://codyandsb.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 30, 2014. We followed the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines to wait to start Sadie on solid foods until she was 6 months old. When we did, I wanted to make all of her food. Between talking to her doctor, researching online and talking to friends, I ended up buying her cereals and making the rest of food. After pureeing her food, I put it in these wonderful freezer cube trays that a friend passed along to me (that have silicone on the very bottom to make it easier to get the food...

Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Sadie was 7 months old on Monday. At 7 months, she:. Rolls easily whether or not she is wearing her brace (sometimes she'll roll across the room). Sits up for longer period of time unassisted (when she wants to.). Rocks back and forth on her hands and knees like she is ready to crawl. Kicks and waves her arms when she's excited. Eats fruits and veggies (bananas, applesauce, avocados, carrots, sweet potatoes and peas.peas are her FAVORITE). Is SUCH a happy girl.
