The environmentally friendly design concept is now taking shape thanks to Huddersfield University architecture students based at University Centre Oldham. Haworth Cat Rescue New Centre Appeal. Tuesday, 22 April 2008. On 21 April 2008, the Committee of Haworth Animal Welfare (Cat Rescue) launched the charity's Big Shelter Appeal. The appeal aims to raise £2million to build an independent rehoming centre in the Airedale corridor (the general Keighley area). Contributions of money, suggestions and help from members of the public are welcomed and appreciated by the committee. We will post regular updates on our blog so that our supporters can view our progress.
