When the birds sing their morning song. I know it is to you I belong. The sun is rising, brighter still. The air is breezy with slight chill. I sit here and think of all the things you’ve done. Making the mountains, sending your Son. The earth comes more alive each passing minute. The wind, the birds, the sky– everything in it. June 8, 2012.

Cease your constant nagging and worrying. In the arms of Christ, peace, you will surely find. You will be able to stop your endless stirring. Stop and slow down. Realize God’s love. Rest in his peace. Remain in his grace. Abide in that love. It is not by your power. It is not by your will. That you’re even breathing. Therefore, be still.
