Healthy brownies that taste good? On January 20, 2012. We try to eat relatively healthy- focusing on whole, unprocessed, and organic food. However, we do love our sweets. Everything in moderation! I used this recipe. From the blog “Living Peacefully with Children”. My notes and substitution options are in parentheses. 1 can black beans or 1 2/3 cup cooked dry beans, drained and rinsed. 3/4 cup sugar (or organic cane sugar). 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Half a pinch of salt. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
